Cancellation Order of 3206 JBT Teachers appointed in Year 2000
Hon'ble High Court of
Punjab and Haryana today cancelled the recruitment of 3206 Junior Basic
Teachers (JBT) in Haryana.
These teachers were appointed in the year of 2000.As
per various writ petition whole recruitment was unlawfully.
Petitioners told
the court that the selection held in 2000
of 3206 JBT teachers was completely controversial because of which former chief
minister of Haryana, Om Praksh Chautala, his son Ajay and 53 others were jailed
by a CBI court Delhi. On 04-02-2013 a single bench of the High Court issued
notice to all the selected candidates, giving them an opportunity of being
heard before taking a decision on their removal.
The notice issued through newspapers in pursuance of a writ petition filed by one Bashir Ahmad and others. Court fixed date 02-05-2013 for replies of selected 3206 JBT teachers. The counsel for petitioners, Lokesh Sinhal Advocate stated that his client was in the first selection list prepared by the district level committees.

the list was later changed at the behest of Chautala and his names dropped from
the selection list.
Now
irregularities have been proved by the CBI court. Sinhal added that the
petitioner.
